The manufacturer refers to an operation that requires the current product to be evaluated according to the ISO 15408 common criteria standard. The producer can also do this evaluation by finding a sponsor.

Common Criteria Laboratory is the one that has provided certain accreditations and evaluates the Producer product in accordance with the ISO 15408 Common Criteria standard. Therefore, it can be said that Common Criteria is one of the essential components of services. The compatibility of the selected laboratory with the manufacturer is important for the efficiency of the work to be done.

The Certification Authority certifies the Producer's product according to the Evaluation Technical Report (DTR) of the Common Criteria Laboratory and according to other factors, and certifies the product by giving its conformity. In our country this authority is TSE (Turkish Standards Institution).

The manufacturer generally works physically with the Common Criteria Consultant Firm / Person. The physical relationship between the manufacturer and the laboratory can be limited. Therefore, if the first person to work with a manufacturer is a consultant firm / person. The Certification Authority is present at the kick off meeting with the manufacturer.
